The $2+ Billion project scope was to refurbish and expand the existing decommissioned
Metcalf Concentrator Facility. The expansion restarted and increased the processing rate of
mill up to a nominal 70,000 short tons per day (stpd). He utilized Primavera & Microsoft
Projects scheduling software in developing and updating front-end construction schedules,
identifying critical paths, developing field need dates for major equipment and bulk materials.
Coordinated between Jacobs construction, client and engineering while facilitating the same
relationship with third party contractors. He reviewed design documents and drawings;
monitored on-going construction for adherence to specifications and performed field
engineering to resolve design problems. Further responsibilities included preparation of
executive reports, construction needs list, initiation of progress reporting systems and
interfacing with client representatives.
· Tech Service Manager - Phoenix Copper Leach Project, Battle Mountain, Nevada.
$43 Million Project consist of construction of a heap leach facility, PLS ponds, Raffinate Pond,
Tank Farm, Solvent Extraction and Electrowinning Plants (SXEW). He was responsible for all
field engineering, document control, IT systems management, technical coordination with
engineering and management of the appropriate staff. He assisted the Construction QA/QC
group in their activities, interacted closely with the Client Contracts Manager and ensured that
all required documentation was available prior to scheduled commencement of construction
activities. He supervised the Project Controls Manager to assure the necessary as built
quantities were available on a timely basis from the engineers, superintendents, and
contractors. Directly involved in the constructability phase of the project, reviewed multiple
requests for quotes, request for proposals and participated in Construction Readiness Reviews
(CRR) to determine the status of Engineering. Responsible for writing project execution plan,
document control procedures, creating change notice forms and flow charts for RFI’s,
inspections, change management and approved engineering documentation.
Work Face Planner / Change Manager - NRU Project, ExxonMobil, Hawkins, Texas
$700 Million scope includes a partial upgrade to the existing Hawkins Gas Plant to achieve a
higher level of natural gas liquid recovery as well as the addition of an entire new Nitrogen
Rejection Unit (NRU) to allow for the recovery of methane as a marketable product from the
natural gas liquid. Responsibilities include creating work packages using the software’s
ConstructSim, CSST, and FieldOpps for all disciplines, coordinating subcontractors by creating
and issuing Contract Correspondence Memorandums (CCM) through Prolog Manager while
implementing and maintaining several databases for the purpose of generating reports
profiling completion status. Use a database, Prolog to generate RFIs (Request for Information)
to control the continuous flow of information between JFS Construction and the Project
Engineers. Other responsibilities included Field Deviation / Change Notices, red lining as-built
drawings, developing mechanical turnover packages through WinPCS and utilizing JPI to locate
engineering / vendor prints & data.

· Ironworker General Foreman - ExxonMobil FCCU-3 NOx NSR Project, Baytown, TX.
Project was a $160 million air quality upgrade to the existing Wet Gas Scrubber for the Fluid
Catalytic Cracker Unit # 3 (FCCU-3). The scope of the Project included erection of two (2) new
Selective Catalyst Reforming Reactors (SCR), replacement of the unit Flue Gas Duct work,
replacement of the Quench Water System and upgrade of the three (3) existing CO Boilers.
Responsibilities included conducting safety meetings, ensuring that compliance to safety
processes and procedures were met by all crews, worked in conjunction with shift managers to
ensure productivity, cost, and schedule were met.
Field Engineer - Flare Gas Project, BP, Texas City, Texas
Inspected structural steel for the field quality control program and attended various stages of
QA/QC punch list inspections to obtain proper signoffs, modified and red-lined drawings for the
structural department and organized & distributed structural RFIs and related documentation.
Material Manager - Total Longhorn II Project, La Porte, Texas
Responsible for re-organization of lay-down yards to ensure all required steel for the project
was on sight and correct. Assisted Field Procurement lead in management of field purchase
orders and related material specifications, charged with organization of incoming project
material and receiving data. Assisted in on-site receiving of project materials, contacted
various project suppliers in order to resolve material issues and assisted field expeditor with
field material distribution management.
Structural Foreman / Rigging Specialist - InVista, La Porte, Texas.
He earned his journeyman license as a rigger under the National Craft Assessment &
Certification Program (NCCER) while performing rigging duties with pickers, 100ton and
500ton cranes, set equipment, vessels, tanks and miscellaneous structures.
